My name is Jacob Cavenee, I am 18 years old. A full time student at AWC. I am currently doing my general studies but plan to major in Business Communications and minor in Photography. I plan on transferring to ASU after my sophomore year. I have 2 brothers and 5 sisters. I have a fraternal twin named Alexis. I enjoy taking pictures, traveling around Arizona, and hanging with my friends.
2. Camera
I currently use a Canon Rebel T3i with a 24-105 mm lens. I absolutely love this camera, but I want to advance to a Canon 70D.
3. Class Goals
My goals for taking this course is to become more familiar and master manual focus. I want to learn how to navigate and use photoshop, and learn more about photography in general.
4. Experience
I have a good amount of experience with photography. I have taken photos for some events here in Yuma. I have also entered photos into the fair which have received some good awards for them. I still think I classify as "beginner" but I am eager to become more advanced.
5. Favorite Photography
My personal favorite photography is self portraits. I still really like taking nature photos, but self portraits are the best.
6. Vacation Spot
My favorite vacation spot would be St. Barth's or Bora Bora. I would love to rent a bungalow over the ocean with an amazing view. I would also have a private yacht take me wherever I wanted.
7. Pet
I have quite the variety of animals. I have three dogs: German Shepard, Rottweiler, and a Corgi puppy, three cats, 4 cows, 2 goats, and a pig named Parker. My family is active in 4-H which explains all the farm animals. I am a dog lover and love all my dogs to pieces.
8. More About Me
I love to adventure and drive around in my Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. I am a hardcore apple fan. I own a wide range of apple products. I have traveled to 3 countries and over 20 states. I own a wide collection of glasses. I love to listen to music and go to concerts and festivals with my friends.
